Why Tether a Drone?
Persistent monitoring made easy
Typically, drone batteries only last 20 minutes or so. This can limit their effectiveness for commercial use.
By powering the drone via a tether, attached to a ground station, the drone can stay in the air for extended periods of time. This also limits some risks associated with drones, such as flyaway.
At Drone Evolution, we see a bright future for tethering drones for a wide range of commercial use, including security, construction, infrastructure, military and emergency response.
